Syed Assad Ali Shah
Chairman /Non-Executive Director
Syed Assad Ali Shah is a seasoned banker with a Master’s degree in Economics and over 24 years of extensive experience in Retail, Commercial, and Branch Banking. He currently serves as the Deputy CEO of Sindh Bank.
Mr. Shah joined Sindh Bank at its inception in December 2010 as Senior Vice President and Regional Head (Sindh). Since then, he has played a pivotal role in establishing and expanding the bank. His exceptional leadership earned him successive promotions Executive Vice President in 2014, Senior Executive Vice President in 2020 and later his appointment as Group Head for Sindh and Balochistan.
He began his banking career at PICIC in 2000, followed by six years at PICIC Commercial Bank (2001–2006) and four years at Mybank Ltd. (2006–2010). At Sindh Bank, he has also served as the Focal Person for the Government of Sindh, where he successfully built key partnerships and spearheaded collaborative initiatives. Mr. Shah also serves on the Board of Sindh Energy Holding Company (Pvt.) Ltd.
Mr. Dilshad Hussain
Non-Executive Director
Mr. Hussain is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and holds MBA degree in Finance and Accounts. Mr. Dilshad Hussain has more than 30 years of experience working in financial institutions. Mr. Hussain has been associated with Sindh Bank since 2011 and presently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer & Head of Finance.
Mr. Sikandar Abbasi

Mr. Abbasi brings with him 32 years of experience in Commercial, Islamic and Development Banking; Management Consulting, Strategic Planning, Board Room Advisory, Learning & Development and Education. Mr. Abbasi served as Senior Director & Country Head Consulting, Syed Husain & Co., Chartered Accountants (an independent firm associated with Moore Stephens International Limited, UK).
Mr. Abbasi co-founded Greenwich Institute which was later converted into Greenwich University, Karachi.
Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Suhag

Dr. Suhag is a Public Civil Servant. He possesses extensive experience of over 26 years in civil services. Dr. Suhag is serving as Managing Director of Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Authority (STEVTA) since September 2021. He holds MBBS degree and completed his MS (Dev. Economics / Social Science) from SZABIST Karachi.
Mr. Riaz Ahmed
Non-Executive Director
Mr. Ahmed is a veteran in the field of Information Technology. Managing Core Banking Softwares and Alternative Delivery Channels (ADC) are his forte. Presently he is heading Core Banking Operations & Support at Sindh Bank Limited. Mr. Ahmed possess more than 25 years of experience in I.T Operations. He holds master’s degree in economics.
Sahibzadi Mahin Khan

Sahibzadi Mahin Khan is a seasoned CEO and business leader with nearly two decades of experience in management consulting, entrepreneurship, and business strategy. She is the Founder President of the Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry Korangi Karachi (WCCIK) and has served on multiple advisory boards. A certified board director and DEI professional, she specializes in business development, leadership, and strategic partnerships. She holds an MBA in Business Administration & Management from the Institute of Business Management (IoBM).
Mr. Shoaib Arif
CEO/President
Mr. Arif is a seasoned microfinance practitioner. His two decades long experience includes working as Chief Operating Officer at ASA Pakistan Limited one of the largest microfinance player of Pakistan and Chief Executive Officer at ASA Kabul-Afghanistan. He also served as Chief Operating Officer at Network Microfinance Bank for 5 years. Mr. Arif holds Master’s Degree in Economics.
