Gender Sensitization Training
Sindh Microfinance Bank, conducted Gender Sensitization Training Sessions — both in-person and via Zoom — from December 15, 2022, to December 30, 2024. These sessions successfully trained approximately 580 staff members across South and North Sindh regions.
The training covered staff from 22+ branches, 87+ service centers, and the Head Office, with representation from the following areas:
South Sindh Region
- Karachi Area: MACHS, Malir, North-Karachi (Service Centers: Korangi, Landhi, Mehmoodabad, Shireen Jinnah, Shah Latif, Shah Faisal, Gulshan-e-Hadeed, etc.)
- Sujawal Area: Badin, Sujawal (including Golarchi, Tando Bago, Khoski, Gharo, Mirpursakro, and more)
- Hyderabad Area: Hyderabad, Kotri, Mirpurkhas, Kunri, Mithi (covering Tando Muhammad Khan, Jamshoro, Digri, Umerkot, Judho, etc.)
North Sindh Region
- Dadu Area: Dadu, Larkana, Qambar
- Sukkur Area: Jacobabad, Shikarpur, Mirpurmathelo, Sukkur, Khairpur
- Nausheroferoz Area: Nausheroferoz, Sakrand, Shahdadpur, Tando Allahyar (including areas like Sanghar, Tando Adam, Nawabshah, Hala, etc.)
The training aimed to promote gender sensitization and enhance understanding of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
The sessions were honored by the presence of Mr. Shoaib Arif, President & CEO, who praised the initiative and emphasized the importance of such training in building a respectful and inclusive work environment.
